Any presence of dark energon?

Adventure comics 247 is probably what I would recommend
December 2, 2024 at 7:26 PM
The other idea I had would be to include a Silver age Superman/superboy legion comic

Maybe since its final crisis it’s not exactly beginner friendly lmao

What do you think of final Crisis: Superman beyond?
Read it a very long time ago and have fond memories of it.

This debate often becomes supercharged In superhero comics due to the nature of the medium and the original intent of the medium of comics in general and the crystallization of comics as collectibles due to the death of its market outside of comic book stores.

That’s all that matters, good storytelling.
I don’t care if there is a contradiction of a story element from 60 years ago. Does the creative team tell a compelling and good story? Yes then use all of canon, some of canon or none of canon. It does not matter.

Everything and nothing is canon in the service to good storytelling
November 26, 2024 at 6:49 PM
Now there are “bad” interpretations, and a lot of “bad” interpretations are published and not published, so the everything is canon and that’s bad because there are bad things that would be included in this is a dumb argument
November 26, 2024 at 6:47 PM
This is why it’s always hilarious to me that people get so fervent about a creative’s interpretation of their favorite characters. This debate sometimes feels theological from the way people debate this.
November 26, 2024 at 6:19 PM
Everything is canon and nothing is canon it’s all subjective flowing rivers between different individuals and their experiences that shape how they would want their “canon” to look like.
November 26, 2024 at 5:22 PM
But creatives have the same creative “power” as any other person. Yes their work is being published but who cares, if I don’t like an idea or story or character development. I’m legitimate in my thoughts of not wanting to adapt this into my headcanon.
November 26, 2024 at 5:21 PM
I think people put so much of their head canon into how it reflects published canon that any idea that contradicts this published canon becomes heretical to the individual.
November 26, 2024 at 5:18 PM
Now the context of this debate was superhero comics but this idea can encompass all media. People seem to think that just because an idea is published that this gives the idea an objective stamp of approval. Now yes there is a material difference between my fan canon and “published canon”.

Absolutely love this idea!

I think the films biggest offender to me is redeeming the greedy businessman with no real explanation
