Completed in 2013, the Islamic Center of Rijeka is the first Adriatic Coast mosque built in over 500 years. Designed from a sculptural model by Croatian artist Dušan Džamonja, it fulfills decades-long aspirations of Rijeka’s Muslim community through a unique creative process.
