Good luck! I used Titebond III on the mitered edges to hold it together. So far it's been rock solid.

I'm planning on a similar project using soft maple but keeping a natural finish. I did a batch of these for floating shelves as well.

Reading it now and loving it. "Blood, Sweat, and Pixels" and "Press Reset" were both phenomenal. Thank you for bringing all of us into the dramatic and sometimes brutal world of video game development!
