LOVE this movie so much!!!

Don’t know if you’re a period piece fan or not but Matthew MacFayden is an amazing Mr. Darcy in the 2005 Pride & Prejudice.

LOVE this one! So moody and romantic!

Throwing the word Monster around removes any trace of nuance from the conversation and reduces an undoubtedly complex individual with a prolific history of activism and civil rights work down to his worst professional moment.

The comments about Brando gave me pause. Were his actions on the set of Last Tango reprehensible? Absolutely they were. But also, were standards highly different back then and was Brando himself psychologically abused on the set of that film? Also true.

One of my absolute favorite films! And I get being suspicious of von Trier- the dude is super sketch but he also occasionally directs absolute masterpieces.

LOVE this one! Definitely one due for a Blu-Ray upgrade!

This is another one I remember enjoying but haven’t thought about much since. RIP Mia Wasikowska’s movie career. 😢

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

The Color Purple- I know it’s widely acclaimed but to anyone who read the book, it’s an embarrassment. He was 100% the wrong director to make that film. All of the sharp jags of the book are sanded down into Spielbergian sentimental BS.

I wish the Anna Faris rom-com reign had lasted a little longer.

That is a dreadful song. My personal choice would be With Arms Wide Open by Creed.

The Blob, similar to Halloween 3, has gone from highly underrated to now a bit overrated. A fun film with great effects but nowhere in the ballpark of The Thing (or The Fly).
