You SHOULD be allowed to put the containers outside as long as they are portable. Granted, it's not growing season outside anymore for most of the US, not sure where you're located. :)

You can start growing a ton of stuff in pots/containers without getting HOA approval in most areas. You can pick up a bunch of gorgeous pots at discount stores (like dollar tree & big lots) of various colors and sizes. Then plant them giving them space needed for each plant. ❤️ #NerdyPeoplePrepping

That's what our feed is trying to accomplish. :) It's a feed to focus on homesteading in place, growing food, permaculture, sustainability, etc. I'm trying to keep it cleaned up as best I can so the feed stays focused. :)

Yep we finally stopped after urgent care had to inject steroids to prevent anaphylaxis one day. Sold the hives and steered toward other methods. Lol

We actually tried beekeeping several hives but my husband was allergic and it got worse with each sting. So we had to give that part up.

or buys up all the toilet paper, you aren't as affected since you already have plenty of supplies and other resources available. I can't go fully off-grid due to my disability but I can make it easier on myself while living in the city. We grow legal medicinal herbs that help with my illnesses, etc

It's mostly about growing food at home, learning old-fashioned skills, building up food storage, etc to be more self-reliant and less dependent upon "city life". We put together resources to teach people how start these things without going "off-grid" completely. That way if there's a power outage

Oh I'm so excited to talk about this! I'm a disabled combat vet who's also ND, so my entire homesteading approach teaches 100% spoonie-friendly methods! I had to resort to this lifestyle when I couldn't work any longer, stepping down from a high-stress corporate position.

Let me know what you think. I'm genuinely interested.

It can be done. You can start homesteading in place until you make enough money to switch. ❤️ #NerdyPeoplePrepping

In #NerdyPeoplePrepping we help people homestead in place wherever they are. At our house we do "no till" and "back to Eden" growing due to frequent drought issues. We had AMAZING results with sweet potatoes...expected 10lbs, harvested 90+lbs! You might try self-reliance feeds for more. :)

It's funny. This is after spending MONTHS telling us to shut up & leave if we didn't like it. *Shrug* "ok" Now they're big mad that we did. They only feel alive when controlling others which is the surest sign that even they know they're losers. Civilization is already dead when we tolerate fascism.
November 22, 2024 at 12:18 PM
You can definitely start homesteading in place. Between learning new skills and starting to practice them, you can get started while you wait for the rest of the "cards" to fall into place. ❤️ #NerdyPeoplePrepping

We're still working to clean it up. Many of the keywords are used in conversation so we plan to spend time every day pulling out unrelated content from the feed. Until then there's a little extra scrolling to find the good stuff. Lol

I thought the same until I read your caption and then their caption. Lol

Allons-y!

You can start where you are! You don't have to wait for some big life change. I've been teaching people how to start even when they're in apartments. ❤️ You can start learning new skills and practicing while working towards your dream homestead. It's so fun! #NerdyPeoplePrepping
