A little goblin wanders the woods, her maroon pigtails bouncing with each step. Her haversack, a bag double the size of her own body, is backpack-strapped tightly to her jean overalls. Just where is this goblin going?

"You know as well as I that humans only bring trouble," The owl's eyes light up, "So just in case it is a human, we shouldn't go this way."
"But think, Bern! We don't actually know if it's humans, so we have to go and find out if it's humans to figure out that we have to avoid it!" Branch exclaims

"You know better than I that we should-" the little owl is interrupted by Branch.
"Avoid the humans, I know, I know! But..." She trails off, slowly turning to the owl with sparkling eyes, "It's so... Shiny...!"
The little owl sighs, landing on the bag, looking down at the young goblin.

Before the owl can speak, the thin, small goblin is out and about. His wings flap, setting out to chase the fleet-footed Branch.
"Where are you heading this day, Branch?" the little owl hoots.
"Dunno! I heard that loud bang last night... Maybe a meteor! Or those big mech apples the humans fly!"

Before the owl can speak, the thin, small goblin is out and about. His wings flap, setting out to chase the fleet-footed Branch.
"Where are you heading this day, Branch?" the little owl hoots.
"Dunno! I heard that loud bang last night... Maybe a meteor! Or those big mech apples the humans fly!"

Her hazel eyes open immediately, & her thin lips swiftly change to a bright smile. Her eyes lock onto the intruder above; A small blue-footed barn owl is perched atop the bed's wooden frame. The little goblin shoots up, snatching her large haversack and running out.
"Branch, Wake up!"
