For my power users out there:
Cloudflare has some amazing config to deter bots (esp AI crawlers) from your website. These are turned on automatically, and you can get extremely granular control even with the free tier.

This might be old news to y'all but I'm like a kid in a candy store rn lol.

Some impromptu #UrbEx in Crystal City Shops, an underground mall in Arlington VA. Reddit called it a dead mall but failed to mention the place is ACTUALLY closed. The halls are kept open as pedestrian walkways.

Content Warning: Body Horror The following is an excerpt from my writing project: It was a Sunday. David did not have work, a break from the usual forty hour grind. A few months ago, he had been promoted to project manager at Dalat Electric Services. At the time, it was seen as a huge boon by his fiancee, towards their idea of a shared future together. The pay was enough to afford a house in a few years’ time, assuming they could pinch a few pennies. David cringed as the thoughts danced across his head, and he insisted to the thoughts that they ought to complete their number elsewhere. He had been admonished by Sienna, his wife-to-be, against continuing to work regularly under current conditions. He listened intently, though ultimately failed to understand her concern. What was he to do about the state of the world? The damned thing kept turning, and some people had a greater responsibility in tending to its revolutions. David wasn’t even sure if the sinew decorating the hands of the Augmented allowed them to operate a keyboard. All the same, it had been weeks since he had last seen Sienna. David glanced around the lobby of O’Malley’s as he walked in. The decorations, the light fixtures - God, even the dank smell, were all a familiar comfort to him. His friends brought him here to celebrate his 21st birthday, which was embarrassingly long ago. He held up a single finger to the host to indicate his party size. The host grunted, and turned towards the dining room intending for David to follow. The host’s head was too flat on the sides, with protrusions around the temples and spine where bone pierced his skin. Augmented.
