Please remember to take egg-stra care in the narrow sections of the alternative course (including all wooded areas and bridges) Be a good egg 🥚 Keep left, overtake on the right🐰

parkrun in purple - Today is International Women’s Day (IWD), it is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

The colour purple is associated with IWD as it symbolises justice, dignity, and loyalty. So the challenge today is to wear purple.
March 8, 2025 at 7:31 AM
It’s our alternative course this Saturday, but we hope our usual course will return very soon.
It’s International Women’s Day on Saturday—you can show your support by wearing something purple, maybe a 🟣T-shirt or a hat, as ☀️ has been promised.

Thank you Anna and all the wonderful volunteers. What a great start to Springtime 🌼
March 1, 2025 at 12:10 PM
The forecast is for ☀️ to kick off Spring on Saturday. We will use the alternative course again as we await the river path's repair. There is an extra hill or two, but much less mud to slip on. Do try to keep to the left to allow overtaking/lapping on your right.

Did you love the new alternative course? ⛰️⛰️⛰️ Are we still your favourite? A massive thank you to Tony and all the volunteers 👏👏👏 Incredible feat to plan and deliver a new safe course at such short notice. Special shout out to Neil Harvey who created the new route 👏👏
