if ppl want to do retellings of the Persephone mythos, I hope they don't villify Demeter by making her a bitter crone-
Bc Demeter stood for all the mothers in Ancient Greece whose daughters were abdudcted & was also a victim of sexism. At least being allowed to see her daughter was a saving grace.

I am still alive
It just happened that the January was probably one of the worst months for me. I was so stressed out, my health suffered & I was shocked it was only a single month

Like the assassins wearing white robes to hide better among monks, sth not common beyond the 1st game-

Reaching the end of #Astlibra pretty soon, and frankly, it might end up being on my top 10 of my fav games.
Its gameplay is damn fun, its music is fantastic, but I also love its story & characters-
Rather simple, but written earnestly & therefore endearing.
It even reminds me of #Nier but schmaltzy.

#UndeadUnluck as a series is for me a prime example for a 7/10
Its emotional & personal moments hit hard and deep
But when it's weird/crazy it leaves sth to desire for me, bc of its fast pacing those never get the time to be introduced/established and to breath and just end up feeling random.

[2] Reminds me how Kishimoto from Naruto and even fucking Rowling were too cowardly to actually change their own worlds at the end, bc they fell too much in love with them including the problems, despite writing years what's wrong with those and leaving those threads unsatisfyingly unfinished.

but I dislike how milquetoast the criticism for the hero society ended up be-
With Deku as our hero, the critique on the world ended up on the sidelines, at best saying "we all should try better!" as a limp dick solution for all the societal issues at the end.[1/-]

Ive enjoyed the whole class idea of MHA, and expected/hoped to see more of its individual members over time. Utilizing the big cast. Making me invested.
AND then the main spotlight is on Deku, Bakugou and Todoroki, putting a question why even have the whole class still around.

In general I appreciate how the #ShinMegamiTensei franchise utilized myths & religions from all over the world in their games, while making them either scarily abstract or just scary. Giving the games unique vibes, in comparison to so much more generic, overused fantasy.

Tho, I am not a fan of its gameplay loop(and its difficulty) I do appreciate Shin Megami Tensei's Strange Journey quite a bit-
Its atmosphere is fascinating, eerie and unsettling. With an OST which is both scary and beautiful.

A Indiana Jones knock off called #MontanaJones, starring a cast of (feline) furries searching for treasures, while fighting off a bad guy who used giant mechanical animals to rob the treasures first.
