Thinking about had there been any other Nascar points system besides the 12 man chase format in place at the time, Carl Edwards wouldve been the 2008 champion over Jimmie Johnson. Hell, he'd even have won the championship with today's format.

Thinking about Phoenix 2012. Had Jeff Gordon not retaliated, Clint Bowyer could've pulled off a championship upset that year.
