The lovely @braintreemuseum.bsky.social has an exhibition of Toys and Games which includes perhaps the best display of #Brendatoys soft toys in recent times. Last day is Saturday 28th. Brenda Cheese deserves to be better known for her work.

Braintree Museum and Warner Textile Archive appear on BBC2’s Great British Railway Journeys with Michael Portillo!
It was an absolute pleasure sharing Braintree's rich textile heritage with Michael and showing him our collections.

Robert Rose, Museums Director and Chair of Braintree District Cultural Education Partnership attended the third Braintree Schools ECO Day. 10 local schools presented their ideas for eco projects. Judges were so impressed all 10 schools were awarded prizes of £130!

Robert Rose, Museums Director and Chair of Braintree District Cultural Education Partnership attended the third Braintree Schools ECO Day. 10 local schools presented their ideas for eco projects. Judges were so impressed all 10 schools were awarded prizes of £130!
