That's... not supposed to happen. Thanks for reporting, I'll look into it!

Alpha Protocol: it's an early Obsidian game, with all the rough patches that entails, but when it shines, it's brilliant.

To me, the album Deceivers by Arch Enemy seems to be about Baldur's Gate 3: the song "Eye of the Storm" could've been called "Karlach's Theme", "House of Mirrors" is about Rafael, "Poisoned Arrow" about Lae'zel. Is there any music that for you belongs to a game, even without official connection?

The first mimic you encounter in Dark Souls. *That* surprise in *that* place is just deliciously evil.

Out of game: Kaye and Gary promising a WOFF on Project: Snowblind. Twice.

For me, it's the Gamepig handheld games in System Shock 2. Mostly because I've got fond memories of hiding in a closet playing a round of minesweeper, sorry, I meant swinekeeper, to delay confronting those psychic monkeys.

Sayonara Wild Hearts! A run of "Begin again" or "The World we Knew" (Or a full album run, if I have the time) always makes me happy, no matter how disappointed Queen Latifa is at my score. And if I really screw up, the nice wizard will just teleport me past that bloody trippy mushroom section.

(( This being an Elder Scrolls game, any dissonance only enhances the play ))

Morrowind: the theme: I'm a deadly assassin, traversing rooftops to kill enemies with the lethal poisons I made myself from the deadliest plants. The play: I'm skipping through the fields picking flowers.

Alone in the Dark (1992) - That weird doritos bat thing still creeps me out to this day, not to mention the doritos zombies.

Prey (The 2017 Arkane one): Goo your way up a wall to shoot a switch (with your nerf crossbow) to open a hatch, and mimic a coffee cup to roll through that hatch. All this to open a door which, you then discover, could also have been opened by pressing the button next to it.

KeyWe! If they're not charmed by those birds and giggling by the end of the first level, this is not going to work.

(( Long time listener, used to join the Multiplayer in the past before abandoning Facebook, made a Bluesky mostly just for this. ))

This got be Cogmind! Playing as a robot endlessly rebuilding, replacing, and upgrading your body with whatever you can scavenge like a trashheap droid of Theseus never gets old.
