252) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD

Out of all the Zelda remakes I played this one seemed to have the fewest changes to which is probably because the base game is still really fun. Plus the HD overhaul makes the game a lot more vibrant.

251) A Way Out

A friend from work had recommended this co-op game for me so I decided to try it out with my younger brother. The game ended up being really fun. The splitscreen was pretty cool as it made it look like two different games were going on at once

250) Crow County

I’ve been hearing that this was supposed to be one of the best new indie horror games out there and it turns out they were right. This game definitely stands out from other games with its main setting being an abandoned amusement park.

249) Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans

Yet another game I started last year and finally finished. It turns out that taking the world of DBZ and turning into a turn-based RPG is a great idea as this game so much fun to play. Might be a hidden gem on the DS

248) Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero

I ended up beating this infamous game too. This game is as bad as everyone says, with its annoying death traps and janky controls. The only good thing in the game were the incredibly campy live action cutscenes:

247) Mortal Kombat: Special Forces
I can definitely see why this is considered one of the worst games in the franchise. With the fact that you’re wandering around the massive levels aimlessly and being hit by enemies you can’t see made things very frustrating

246) Paper Trail

This one was quite the unique puzzle game. It has this cool concept of manipulating the world around like pages in a picture book. I did get stuck quite a few times in the game but overall it’s still really good.

245) Street Fighter Alpha

I’ve never played the first game in this sub-series so I decided to try it now. The game itself is pretty good. I especially really liked the various stages and music tracks this game has.

244) Dawn of the Monsters

I’ve heard about this game for a while now so I decided to finally try it. This ended up being a really cool beat’em up with its concept of controlling giant Kaijus. The game does start to get pretty tough near the end though.

243) Disney's The Little Mermaid: Magic in Two Kingdoms

This one was just okay. For me it felt like a bland minigame collection that has you do the same thing over and over again before you can go to the next level and none of the levels felt really fun.

242) Bubsy 2 (Gameboy)

The only good thing about this port is that there’s fewer levels to deal with. Otherwise, this is still a confusing and frustrating game to go through now with the addition of some more slippery controls.

241) Bubsy 2 (Genesis)

This one ended up being worse than the SNES version. Mainly due to the fact that for some reason they made the high jump it’s own separate button so if you go into the game blind you won’t know why your can’t reach the higher platforms

240) GoldenEye 007 (2010)

This is probably a hot take but I prefer this remake over the N64 game. Levels now have actual checkpoints and objective markers that things a lot easier. Plus, the Wii pointer controls work really well for shooting enemies.

239) Mortal Kombat 2 (Genesis)

Here’s the last MK console port beaten in the legacy collection. While the music is great in this one the characters and backgrounds look really faded in this one making things a little off.

238) Shock Troopers

This arcade shootem’up ended being a lot more fun than I thought was going to be. With high-octane action, really great looking level, and a rocking soundtrack this is an arcade I highly recommend for anyone to play.

236) Art of Fighting 3: The Path of the Warrior

This one was pretty good. The animation alone is some of the best I’ve ever seen in a 90s 2d fighting game. The gameplay is good but like most SNK games the CPU is really tough here.

237) Mortal Kombat 2 (SNES)

Another really solid Mortal Kombat port. Runs almost as fast as the arcade game and it even brought the blood back that the last SNES port was missing.

235) Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (GBA)
I wasn’t a fan of this one. Scooby is janky to control and there’s lots of annoying levels. It’s also pretty wild that they locked the ending of the game with a password you could only get by watching the movie

234) Disney's Kim Possible 3: Team Possible
This game was pretty good. While the combat and gadgets are fun, the fact that you’re constantly swapping between two characters slows the game down a bit. I also don’t appreciate the Canada slander near the end lol

233) Fatal Fury 2

Since I played the console version at the start of year, I decided to try the arcade version as that’s the only game in the series I haven’t played yet. While the presentation and gameplay are great the CPU is absolutely relentless here.

232) Mortal Kombat 3 (Genesis)

To avoid sounding like a broken record I’ll just say that for this port aside from few obvious technical differences it pretty much plays the same as the SNES port.

231) Mortal Kombat 3 (SNES)

This was another decent SNES port. However, just like the arcade game the CPU is really tough to deal with.

230) Fatal Fury Special (SNES)

While I prefer the presentation of the Arcade version this was still a pretty solid port. The game is good but also really tough as like the original game. I was even able to fight the game’s secret boss

229) Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (SNES)

This was a pretty solid port. I do like how this game has a few additional characters added to the roster. Although, the CPU is just as hard as in the arcade version.
