Who should participate in the Foundational category?

The short answer: any students learning braille! It’s accessible, supportive, and flexible, which makes it perfect for students who may need individualized support, who are new to braille, or who aren’t ready for the usual competition yet.

Diabetic Macular Edema (DME)

When fluid builds up in the macula (the center of the retina), it causes blurred or wavy vision.
