These folks just won’t let go of power - and I’m talking about the people around these aging Senators. The photos of Feinstein at the end were horrible. Elder abuse is exactly right.

I agree that the “end of planet” talk misses the mark. The planet will still be here but humans along with plants & animals will experience extreme decline. The messaging has to change along with actions of people - like Gates - that can enact change.
