Small crowd at Dina's (the former Silver Dollar) for Seattle dream pop trio Coral Grief tonight. When it was a blues bar in the 1990s I was here every weekend. They've cleaned it up. Nice lounge, with a dive bar aesthetic.

The speeches last night at the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame gala at Toronto's Meridian Centre were so strong. Highlights were inductees Ian Thomas and Jane Siberry, and their inductors Murray McLauchlan and k.d. lang.
