Hospitals won’t opt out. End of story. Under the current system even the largest for profit hospitals still accept Medicare/Medicaid because those two programs cover well over 60-70% of the volume of the hospital. M4A/ universal would only increase that percentage. Opting out would end a hospital.

The correct answer on all referenced to fraud, waste, and abuse is to spend additional dollars in the program to hire the experts and establish departments that can investigate.

“We are the federal law” is pretty concerning, and a big tell.

I’d say the sooner we get to this point the more likely they would not fire on protesters. The longer it takes and more time they get to condition the military to their will, the more likely the military will fire.
