...and you could pick almost any track from it. But I'd nominate "Into My Arms" as perhaps most indicative of depth? But anything from his earlier oeuvre exploring Old Testament christianity is still worthy of philosophical examination.

apparently I replied to the "wrong" comment. Anyway, I'd also like to refer the works of Nick Cave and Talking Heads, in terms of packing complex concepts into "simplistic" formats. Crowded House and Split Enz might also be worthy of mentions? Seems Art Rock often fits what we seek here?
