Me, included. I've spent way too much time reading financial reports.

Yes, you're right, Reuters is usually reliable. But they obviously didn't know about the Tesla bylaw that counts abstentions as "no" votes.

They will.

Sean, it's even worse than that. Few noticed the term "Covered Event" in the proxy statement.

It's Musk's "free money" clause.

You're probably right, but it just ups the ante on already sky-high legal liabilities at Tesla and their employees.

It wasn't. I don't know what you're reading, but you might want to get a better subscription.

The pay package was smoke & mirrors for a way to get shareholders to vote for Tesla to invest in xAI, which failed. Remember when Musk had to sell $23 billion worth of Tesla to buy Twitter? Same.

Considering he is the reason that Tesla sales have crashed like the market for hydrogen zeppelins after the Hindenburg, it is clear that the stock has no relationship to value or reality.

Have you heard of Google? 😂

Tell me why the TSLA call options volumes hit 9-month high on Sep-12th on zero news, only to have Tesla report that Musk bought $1 billion worth of TSLA shares the next day?

There was also heavy put selling involved, which is the key sign of a concerted effort to pump.

I haven't had time to do the proper analysis of the average returns for all of the instruments they list in this table, but before interest rates were hiked in 2024, their interest income never matched the yields of even 3-month govt bonds.

Actually, they only had $4.29 billion in cash held in foreign currency in Q3 (mostly in RMB). Note that they increased the limit of borrowing in their China Working Capital Facility (which gets a 100 bps discount to the PBOC rate, so 2%).

This what Musk said regarding the Tesla "terafab", in light of eventually producing 12 million humanoid bots per year and 4 million embedded AI cars per year.

Thanks for flagging that.
