Had this at every call centre job I worked, someone always coming up with the most detailed weird scenario to ask about... If it comes up put them on hold and flag me down cause I want to hear about this weird shit.

Jon, I love ya man, but y'all have to realize by now that the culture of America is the problem. Constant stress, poverty, lack of healthcare, extreme lack of mental healthcare, access to weapons and a culture of individualism make this stuff happen. Nothing changes until everything changes.

Same with risk and this has been my argument whenever using AI to analyze anything comes up at my work... I don't trust it, so I'm going to have to go through whatever it does to make sure it didn't fuck it up severely, so why don't I just do it in the first place?

I really wish it was easier to get across to high school students that there is no topic they know everything about. I know it's teenage hubris, but good god would I like to go back and slap myself first for that.

This by-election just highlights the nonsense idea that MPs actually represent their riding. This system was adequate for the 1800s, but it's outdated and broken now.
