Ooo I didn't get any greens and only saw the pillars for a few mins, it was generally just a big red blob in the sky here

I wasn't planning to go out. Someone randomly texted me asking if I was going to try and I took a test shot from the back yard and was like oh wow, ok I need to go out. Haha. I would have totally missed it too

I saw some photos people took of it with the golden gate. It was visible there. Not sure why it might be more visible here except for light pollution or fog 🤷🏼♂️

Haha, well I do have a pistachio grove as a neighbor on one side, a walnut grove behind us and a grape vineyard across the street. It is ag central here 🙂

Right? It was more of a very faint pink glow you could see with your eyes. It's much more visible and vibrant doing a long exposure on the camera.
