It’s been ten years since I made my first music video for Curlys Jewels.
We shot it in a mechanic’s garage in Porirua with a small crew, a tight plan, and just enough budget to make it work.

I love how many perspectives there are of this part of Wellington, surrounded on two sides by water, Miramar and Melrose on the others.

Sometimes it takes teamwork to get the shot.
My Mum kept watch as I stood in the middle of the road with the goal of capturing this photo and not getting run over.
It was one of the first times I had seen snow capped mountains from Paraparaumu Beach - more magic that it was created with my Mum 🥰
