Today was a big accomplishment for me! I completed a 5K during my hour of cardio! When I started my #weightlossjourney I would have not even come close! Not only losing weight, but getting stronger! #hearthealth

When I started this journey: I was a 5xl shirt, always tired, health on the decline, and extremely uncomfortable in my body. Now, I’m a 2x/3x, more energy, workout 6 days a week, and all my blood tests are in the healthy range! I’m not at my goal, but I’m so proud of my progress! #weightlossstory

4.2lbs lost this week even though I had a pulled back!

I was really bummed earlier this week that I wouldn’t get to lift weights and worried I wouldn’t lose.

This just shows the importance of getting in movement however you can!

Another #weightloss first for me today! For the first time in over 15 years, I was able to buckle the seatbelt on my airline seat without the use of a seatbelt extender. The Delta flight attendant literally gave me a small cheer and fist bump! Here’s to more weight loss firsts ahead!

These 2 apps have become the most powerful tools in my belt for my weight loss! Tracking my full nutrient intake as well as a diary of my exercise is helping me create a lifestyle change versus a temporary diet. #weightloss

2lbs lost this week for a total of 65lbs! Also increased the max weight on my chest press, pec fly, tricep extension, leg press and calf press! Added core to my cardio days. It’s a slow process, but the goal is to lose weight slow and steady so it’s healthy and maintainable. #weightloss

Sunday Weigh In: Lost 3lbs this week while increasing my max weights at the gym. That’s a total of 63lbs lost so far! One of the biggest parts of this journey is aligning my physical AND mental health. Setting boundaries and respecting the boundaries you set is tough, but it’s necessary. #weightloss

Healthy food can be delicious and visually beautiful. Tonight, I tried my hand at a Butternut & Pearl Barley Risotto with Chicken that had only 570 calories per serving and full of heart healthy ingredients! I think mine turned out almost as good as the picture!
