I think the larger issue is that over the last 25 years we normalized calling commentators journalists and calling entertainment programs “the news”.

I’ve had great luck with Mosquito Dunks. Basically you make traps with a few 5 gallon buckets hidden around the property with water and dunks in them. Mosquitos lay eggs in there and it kills the larva and breaks the lifecycle.
