Sadly, from the videos I’ve seen it looks like the initial barrage of shots were to Pretti’s back as he was kneeling/pushed to the ground.

The first three shots were in the back, while Alex was on his knees, execution style. No way that stands up to self defense.
It just get worse. Instead of administering CPR to a man who might still be alive, DHS officers were leering over the body, counting the bullet holes.
