A 24-year-old transgender man from Minnesota who had been missing since December was subjected to violence and torture before his body was found last week in a field in New York, the authorities said. Five people were arrested in connection with his death and charged with murder, the police said.

So Musk and Trump are determined to shut down USAID. What they obviously don’t understand is that in addition to the humanitarian aspects of what USAID does it also an important part of the strategy for US foreign policy. The Russians and the Chinese will be waiting to fill that void.
