I was a bit of a science enthusiast as a kid, in the way that I assume lots of kids are. I dropped all that when I focused on music towards the end of high school, but I've been spending some spare time lately learning what I can. It's still extremely early days but so far I'm really enjoying it.

More recently, in maybe the last five or six months, I've been revisiting and developing my childhood interest in the life and earth sciences. ( #Biology, #Microbiology, #MolecularBiology, #StructuralBiology, #PrebioticChemistry, etc.)

I later studied design (bradparker.com/tags/design). My mum's a painter (debparkerartist.com/gallery) and my partner's a jeweller (aliciaallan.com/), so we get to share our appreciation for art and design. I'm a big block colours and typography fan. Tell me about your favorite fonts/typefaces.

I studied music out of high school. After that I taught for a bit, which I loved. I listen to a wide range of things and still very occasionally pick up my telecaster. Musicians I admire include: Bill Frissel, John Abercrombie, Ben Monder, James Muller, Bill Evans, Miles Davis, Vijay Iyer ...
