Please don’t let the horrific “tax relief for the rich” bill pass in the Senate. It’s an assault on the poor and middle class. It’s also hiding unlimited, unchecked, unconstitutional presidential powers in plain sight and will lead us ever more quickly into authoritarianism. Thanks for fighting.

Please make good trouble today. You’re one of the few leaders I trust and have confidence in. We cannot legitimize or normalize this regime. Help lead us, help reach poorly informed Americans who don’t understand the pain they too will endure, and communicate a plan. We need hope and inspiration.

Make good trouble. Be loud. Boo. Don’t this despot as normal and don’t appease, placate or seek compromise. Trump and his cronies are corrupt, lawless and malevolent and we need to make sure that it’s clear that his will is not the will of the people it’s the will of the oligarchs only.

I agree. I think it’s important to call out our leaders when they fall short and encourage them when they do the right thing (even if their intent is Machiavellian). They need to know their constituents are watching and engaged and will hold them accountable for their cowardice.
