We haven’t talked since. After that, I checked both videos to where the monster truck hit the streamer. My POV (1st image) shows that there is delay in the streamers actions compared to where he is on his POV. So it is a latency issue on my end.

AITA for running over a streamer in a racing game?

After the final lap was finished, the streamer kicked me out of his racing party and voice chat. After that on his stream, the other guy says it could be a latency issue, but the streamer denies it as we both have PCs so we can’t have latency problems.

The other guy in the voice chat believes that I am telling the truth. The streamer still expects me to apologize and I say that I telling the truth and that he’s acting like he’s trying to make a political comment, in the context that he is “yelling louder to win the argument” over nothing.

I refused to apologize because I saw that the streamer ran into me, told me to play normally since he wants to earn his wins, and whether or not I intentionally hit him it’s all part of the game. He threatened to use his and my stream to prove his point and in a way to humiliate me.

However, the streamer moves right into me causing him to get hit by me. He gets mad at me and accuses me for following him. He cusses at me and tells me to apologize to him for “toxic behavior”.

By the end of the 1st lap, I get a monster truck item that increases my vehicle’s size, speed, crushes other drivers, and slows them. Problem was that I was behind the streamer. In my POV, I’m moving right and I see him moving a bit left. So I stay moving right and warning him that I’m behind him.

On second part of the clip, the streamer, the other guy and I are on a track called Market Street which is a track that the streamer mentions that he had already got 1st place before. So besides ranking purposes, it didn’t matter if he won or lost for his WIP content.

The first part of the clip, a track called White Space, was one of the 4 tracks the streamer hasn’t won 1st place. So at the end of the 3rd lap, I didn’t throw an item that can slow a racer down so he could potentially win. However, the streamer wanted to earn his wins and told me to play normally.

In the first few tracks, the streamer mentions that he wants to use his streaming content for some kind of tier list of his favorite stages. However, he wants footage of each stage where he wins 1st place and mentions that there are only 4 stages that he hasn’t won yet.

I was streaming this game and I found a streamer that I played against during the open beta. This streamer openly invites his viewers to play with him with this game. I asked for an invite, he said yes, and I joined his chat with another person invited by him.
