I'm wondering something a little different - where is he now? An AP article said he's essentially in an undisclosed location. But surely he doesn't have valid immigration status in the US. Why wasn't he immediately picked up by ICE and sent back to Honduras?

I might be in the minority here, but his subsequent attempts to gain bar admission showed how unrepentant he was. He never really admitted what he did, and we shouldn't romanticize that

Don't sleep on the footnote calling out the abrupt line break. (FN 52: "Abrupt line break in original. See id. at 2.") That one really made me wince. Like, even if you're wrong on the law, did no one proofread the damn thing?

Is it weird that he apparently didn't attend the victory parade? Like, quite a few pending free agents were there, including Kopech and Kirby. Just seems odd that a guy who basically played everyday just disassociated himself from the team that quickly
