He will paddle across Scotland from Fort William to Inverness (96km), turn and bike the trail route back (125km) before leaving the saddle for the final return leg!

With some exceptions (like our rope rescue kit which needs specific skills) our Resources Officer makes sure that each month different people check different vehicles and kit ensuring we all stay current with what is kept where, what should be in each bag, and how it all works.

Whilst the analysis of maps, application of data, and following established processes may not be as visible or appear as exciting as some of our work, knowing where and how to look for missing people underpins much of what we do.
