My 2nd #LibFaves24 pick is STOLEN CHILD by Anne Hood - This book had such a lovely feel. The characters and their stories/paths were interesting, but it was really the emotion and atmosphere that absorbed me.

If dark books with some gore and horror are your thing, I’d recommend BAT EATER AND OTHER NAMES FOR CORA ZENG by Kylie Baker. It looks like the pub date has been pushed to April so there’s plenty of time to get this one in!

I counted 327 blooming lady slippers over about 2 miles of a hike ❤️ For a number of years I saw few/none & have worried about their decline. Last year felt I saw more, then this!
