Epic album. The vocals and the guitar and drum solo's on Losing You are as good as it gets. Pure rock and roll, I never get tired of hearing that track.

As a Rod Stewart fan I hate that he has expressed support for Farage. But implying that being influenced by blues and soul artists means that he ripped them off and makes him responsible for their poverty - that's really quite a stretch.

Palace fans were outstanding on Sunday. Proper fans, and great that the Champions and FA Cup winners could celebrate together on last day of the season. Blown away by how many Palace fans stayed for the trophy award.

Of course we have no choice but to see how far pragmatism gets us with Trump 2.0. But maintaining our core principles eg. on Ukraine, collective security, the rule of law, could prove to be faultlines. It's not naive to acknowledge that upfront, and better to understand fully what is at stake.

Andrew makes the quite plausible point that the Trump Administration may deliberately force Staermer to confront a series of wedge issues. It would be interesting to hear how you would suggest we respond.
