This unique desk featuring a pull out writing desk/drawer was a wonderful find! Unfortunately, the original desk top was too far gone so I replaced it with glued solid red maple. The old top was resurrected as a desk organizer to match.

This 1950s-era fan was previously used in a shop garage to help move large volumes of air for ventilation. It was in fairly good condition when acquired, needing a thorough inspection and a fresh coat of paint but showing no signs of rust. It was completely disassembled, cleaned, and received new wiring throughout including 15 feet of vintage style cord , along with an updated paint color and a new weighted felt base. It’s now ready for a new owner who can expect at least another 70+ years of service.

One of my first projects was restoring this Hamilton drafting table, a classic example of the 1950s Model 159-A. I was immediately drawn to its solid oak base and cast iron hardware, which embody the craftsmanship of the era. The table top itself was in rough condition, requiring a complete restoration.
