Our Red Tailed Hawk family is back. Apparently the parents spend two-three years teaching the young one how to hunt. But with the youngster constantly screeching to be fed, it is a wonder that the parents can catch anything to feed it!

After a bout with pneumonia (which knocked me back for 5 weeks) I finally went for a walk at Descanso Gardens in time to catch a beautiful blooming Buckeye Tree behind me. The smell was wonderful!
