Recently retired arts administrator. Singer and book lover. Baseball and wienerdogs make me happy. Fascists do not.
Ooooh, secondary dominants: my favorite! 🤓 (sorry, theory nerd here) Although, yes—at that age, I might not have appreciated the time/setting.

Across the street from my in-laws’ retirement community. As it was being renovated, they were convinced it was going to be a pharmacy. Um, not exactly…🤦🏻‍♂️

You look great, and nearly 100,000 Princeton alumni approve of your choice for the photo background. 🐅

We lived in Switzerland for a couple years when I was a kid, where fondue is a national dish. I’ve recently started re-learning the French that I’d been fluent in as a child, and discovered that fondue means “melted.” But as a kid, I preferred “fondue Bourgignon” — beef deep-fried in oil. Mmmm.

It’s not going to prevent him and his stooges from claiming a mandate, and they’ll keep on repeating it to justify the upcoming shit show: the new Big Lie.

If this is any indication of what you’ll be posting about the Twins in ‘25, it’s yet another reason to look forward to the start of the season! 😂😂😂

Ooo you’ve already the new Erdrich book? How was it? Went to her “Talking Volumes” event at the Fitzgerald and was intrigued—waiting to get it from the library.

Jodi Picoult: “By Any Other Name” Historical fiction. Imagines if Shakespeare’s plays were written by a group of authors who needed to remain anonymous, and at least one of whom was a woman.
