I maintain that the smartest thing in my kitchen should be my stove or my microwave. And by "smart" I mean the stove has a temp probe that can be shown in the display and a timer (but no outside connection). The microwave can have sensor reheat and maybe a microphone for popcorn.

The only April Fools I enjoy anymore are blantantly obvious silly things. Like that time Alex Trebeck and Pat Sajak swapped game shows. Or a game has an "update" where all the carrots are now actually chickens for the day or some such.

Been playing a lot of Picayune Dreams the last week, it's one of those games that I wasn't sure about, then someone gifted me a copy and it's legitimately a ton of fun with an interesting and surreal storytelling style.
