Taking the first Brexit measure, we see that while remain guests appeared twice as often as leavers across all appearances, when you split guests by (non-)politicians, their views map relatively closely to the views of parliament (74:26 remain) and the UK public (52:48 leave).

When it comes to educational background, privately educated individuals, as well as those who attended Oxford or Cambridge are overrepresented on the show in comparison to not only the UK public, but also parliament, where these backgrounds are already far more common.

Gender and ethnic representation in panel selection tends to be somewhat lower than the distribution of the UK population, but women and ethnic minorities are represented on the show at higher rates compared to parliament.
