Does China regularly use mRNA vaccines? Everyone's immune response is different, but I get worked so hard by those but I can't imagine being on a plane the day after.

I suppose that's true. She has a pretty substantial contract, IIRC. That would be a lot of money to walk away from. On the other hand, she's not getting playing time... Maybe I'm just too used to how contracts work with MLB/NFL/NBA, and soccer is clearly different.

Since she is currently under contract, would the Wave get any compensation if she signs with Tigres? I'm not sure how this kind of deal works in NWSL.

I mean, I'm not one but happy about it. But the Wave need to get their house in order before anything else. I just hope they're able to hang on to Girma in the meantime.

She may have wanted out because of the team management issues. If that's the case, it's hard to say it's worse to hold onto her when they're not going to be competitive anyway.

It sucks, but I really don't know what what they could do. Weird circumstances let to picking up Darnold, who unfortunately beat out Lance. I appreciate that they tried to do something right by giving Lance the fresh start he needs, rather than making him sit the bench of the team that rejected him.
