Big difference re: Law and Order vs Rule of Law.

It's the Matthew 7:21-23 conundrum. What am I (huge implied assumption there but let's run with it for argument's sake) supposed to feel about the situation? Sad, of course. But am I allowed to be a little happy as well?

i don't think that bush v. gore is the *worst* ruling in the history of the supreme court, but i do think it is the most openly *corrupt* ruling in its history. a real disgrace.

The answer is psychological hardening of the populace against such things but we've let every village idiot from every village link up on the internet and form super PACs as well as there being an alarming percentage of the populace that took agitprop and made it a cinematic universe.

From a practical point of view, I don't understand the long term strategies. Don't want immigrants? Destabilize a nearby country. Don't want socialism? Spend decades setting up the initial conditions that brings it about.
