And every time I hang up a decoration, I think of the place I visited when it's a travel souvenir or the person who gave it to me and it brings a light to my heart, like for example this pretty medallion from Germany given by my school principal at Christmas 1973, more than 50 years ago.

I just finished to put up my Christmas tree... the decorations are mostly travel souvenirs or a few treasures that are important to me, like this heart embroidered by Ukrainians in Canada in 2022. I'm thinking of you and 🇺🇦 and thank you Yaroslava for another beautiful Christmas tree today.
