Today I’ve got a Meadowood point from Massachusetts, dating to around the transitional archaic to early woodland. They often have these “fan shaped” bases which are. very distinctive. C. 3,000 years old. 🧪🏺🐡

Mansion Inn blades date to the terminal archaic (c. 3700-2700BP) in New England. These have convex edges (they bow out slightly) with a contracting stem (it pinches down to narrower than the blade at the base). These points can get BIG. #Archaeology 🧪🏺🐡
