ALL roles at VA are mission critical. It is a lie to say these cuts do not affect Vets’ benefits or access to care. Forcing out staff impacts every service, & more Vets opt to get care in the community, which costs more & doesn’t offer the same quality of care to this very complex pt population.

David Lynch’s work is surreal, unsettling, puzzling, sometimes terrifying, and also empathetic, relatable, emotionally charged, beautifully complex. Also, also…maybe sometimes weird just for weird’s sake, and that’s why we loved him. RIP

Twin Peaks is my favorite show and its film, Fire Walk With Me, is one of my favorite movies. And a large part of the reason why was that through the darkness, through the surreality, through the drama and horror there was a profound empathy for those who are abused. Lynch had so much empathy
