This is a complete violation of our privacy, even after they failed to keep IDs safe in the UK. At least don’t support them financially, but a full switch would be best.

because Tuta and Proton have a childish rivalry thats why. both nominate the privacy-friendly free encrypted email and calendar game and there can only be one (apparently). proton pass is perfectly fine, but self-hosted Vaultwarden is probably the best option out of every one of these.

4. infrastructure problem

All of these we're addressed by the Signal team and they are working on improvements. What should we use than that's as reliable as Signal?

Yes, of course, thats the most private option out there (other than having no phone at all), but do you think the average person would go even that "far"? They would still install Google Play Services and use it on a regular basis, app compatibility issues are also annoying. I know, I'm using it rn.

There's still Android System SafetyCore, or any bullshit Google forces on your phone that cannot be removed or even limited, therefore violating user privacy. Apple isn't the best either, but I personally recommend it over any Chinese or stock ROM Android.

Samsung has Israeli spyware embedded inside it, Apple is probably the most privacy-friendly and security focused mainstream smartphone manufacturer out there.
