My little town showed up for the No Kings rally today. Great energy and lots of enthusiastic support from passing cars. Thanks to my congressional Rep @chu.house.gov for showing up in support.

What I’m seeing is largely nonviolent civil disobedience in LA. Blocking traffic is not “insurrection.”

In news that doesn’t suck, I attended a workshop for a planned redesign of Colorado Blvd in Arcadia last night where there was overwhelming support for protected bike lanes on this complete streets project!

Pasadena has over 900 mi of car lanes and only 3 mi of protected bike lanes, yet the Mayor and some NIMBYs are complaining about the protected bike lanes. Such complaints shouldn’t be taken seriously. H/t @pasadenacsc.bsky.social
