Absolutely! And would give Oregon a quality win they desperately need. Losing to USC puts them behind them, ND, and probably Miami. With only 4 open CFP spots and SEC teams and BYU still out there, not great. As much as I hate the thought of losing to UDub it’s the better loss to take

10-2 Oregon would probably also need 2 more losses among OU/Bama/Vandy, and 1 more loss between BYU/Utah with how the committee thinks of the Big 12 this season. And depends how they rank Oregon compared to ND and Miami. Not crazy but still a lot needs to happen

If Oregon does finish 10-2 it has to be beating USC and losing to UDub. Michigan also can’t beat Ohio St. losing to USC and Michigan winning out would put Oregon 5th in the B1G pecking order and 5 B1G teams are not getting in

And a year after playing the top 5 B1G teams (+ND). They deserve a schedule break one of these years
