My son had surgery to remove a lipoma in his armpit yesterday, and everything went well! I wish I could sit him down and explain the procedure so he understands what just happened to him, but it is what it is.
My dog Nubbs, wrapped up in towels at the vet's office following a successful surgery. His pupils are blown wide from the anesthesia and he looks super messed up, but he's alright. Nubbs again, home after surgery and looking very out of it. He is bundled in blankets on our couch, and his eyes are bleary and unfocused. Nubbs staring vacantly ahead, still wrapped in blankets on the couch. I am petting him while he recovers, but he neither acknowledges me nor cares. Nubbs finally decided he's had enough of my bullshit and buried his head into the blankets to shut out the light. Only the top of his head and ears are exposed. He spend the next several hours sleeping off the anesthesia like this, and is doing much better now.
