Am I happy that Uk companies (not the government) send less than 1% of Isreal's military aid. No it should be zero, and I dont understand why it has been allowed to continue.

How effective do you think the stunts of Palestine Action will be in stopping the genocide? The idea that the UK can stop Netanyahu is farcical. Of course people should be free to protest but it will make no difference at all. See Just Stop Oil and the Remain protests.

Unfortunately some employers are just like that and don't need an excuse. If possible, they should just vote with their feet. Even when employment law is on your side, you can be shafted. My daughter's clever and hard-working partner was told to resign when his employer lost a big contract.

On a much smaller scale Ballymena had its first ever Pride despite some idiot spraying the route with manure. This is a big deal in the NI bible belt.

Some of my happiest childhood memories were 'helping' my mum with her office cleaning job. I can still smell that office. Cigarette butts and pencil shavings.

Travelling around Europe by train is a joy. Just back from 3 weeks visiting Paris, Zurich,Vienna,Budapest,Krakow, Wroclaw, Berlin and Cologne. With all the open space in the USA you should have high speed trains. 200mph+ like in Europe.
