Hell, I even jokingly say that Sonic Frontiers is essentially Neon Genesis Evangelion-Code Lyoko Sonic fanfiction because of the sheer quantity of Code Lyoko-specific cyberspace tropes it has.

I wouldn't be so sure about the no cultural influenced. I'm honestly convinced that Code Lyoko has been a major influence on basically every cyberspace property that's come out since. Like that shitty Reboot reboot and the more modern Trons in certain aspects.

Honestly, with how fucking ruthless XANA was, I'm surprised there hasn't been any major fan horror media surrounding the series
