Scooters are not "active travel", and what about cars and roads and 2 tonne SUVs?
They are going to cause a whole lot more damage, blind or not.

Currently on holiday in Austria with @bromptonbicycle.bsky.social so far, tyre sidewall has burst, rear cassette went wobbly and my TPU inner tube exploded going down a hill and melted into the rim tape. Not so good for a £5000 bike... But I still love my Brompton and the adventures we have!

Is this a bodge repair? Looking from streetview a few years ago the general surface isn't bad. But I'm guessing it's nothing like this now!

Kind of like princess road and soon to be Kingsway.
Both are valiant and good things, but the road conditions just don't suit 30. Everything screams faster. Look at my included pic. Does that say 30 to any vehicle? It's basically motorway / high speed A road conditions.

Why is it Cheshire East fail so hard every time? Recent "improvements" to B5470 in Macc crossing basically cost a load and did nothing.

Why is Picadilly station do devoid of any bins? Even Euston in London has bins. I'm sure the rest of the stations in Manchester do...

Finally the city is filled with nonsense like this. Signs which mean many streets have no legal access or are just plain wrong.
The other way is one way ( out ) essentially meaning no access from both sides without ignoring one of them. ( bus lane / 1 way or no right turn )

All transport is hopeless in NQ, tiny pavements, too much on street parking & terrible car routes with a 30mph mancunian way...

It's ridiculous. There is one thing that people need to pay attention to here the massive thing saying sharp corner.

So let's put more context on this area. To the left we have a massive car park. During covid this entire circled section was cordened off for cycling and was extremely well used.

We have a road near me ( A6 - Stockport ) with a similar width. It goes right through a town centre / next to a train station / past loads of businesses and homes. It's horrendous to drive and walk next to. Imagine this sort of treatment!

So I don't know much about this area.. But can you imagine crossing from the other side of the street to be met with this wall of cars.
Just because it's been used as a personal dumping ground for vehicles for so long surely doesn't make it right?

I didn't even use mine. I just sold it with my PS5... Since it was white as opposed to black like my other controllers.
